2011 Bouquinales

Pour que mémoire ne flanche (so that memory does not give way): the Lettres Européennes Association has participated  in the second edition of the Bouquinales on the artistic, historic and scientific levels.

The remembrance duty, highlights of the study days led by Professor Maryla LAURENT in Lille 3 University was followed by meetings with pupils, a round-table at the Centre Socio Educatif in Hazebrouck (Social and Educative Centre).

The Jonas room in the Augustinian Museum was the ideal place to evoke Ravel’s birthday and have a dialogue between music and literature around the Tableaux d’une exposition.

The whole of these events was centred on the accounts of death camp survivors (Mr Gabriel LAMPEL, citizen of Hazebrouck, and Mr Boris Pahor, potential Nobel Prize winner). An actor, Pierre Santini, read some pages to close this edition of the Bouquinales.
