Our Network: Les Lettres Européennes (European Literature)
Our network, being predominantly a university network, created in 1988, brings together educationists and culturati from across the European continent – professors, journalists, writers, actors…
Our objective for the past 20 years corresponds to that of our status:
- To assert Europe’s cultural identity through its literary expression.
- To introduce a European viewpoint within the teaching of the Arts.
Since its creation in 1997, the network of Les Lettres Européennes has been financed under the general direction of the European Union in the domains of Education and Culture.
Since 2008, the Citizenship of the European Commission financially accompanies the dossiers of The European Citizens of the Arts: Cultures in dialogue and Résidence Pérégrine of Creative European Literary Writing: towards the preparation of the European citizens by cultural mediation and pedagogy.
