This is only an aide memoire and will be limited to two sides of text.
On the 5 March 2016, from 16h30 to 21h30, the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Association Les Lettres Européennes was held at the Association’s headquarters (59670 Wemaers-Cappel). The following decisions were made :
1) Election of a new committee*
* following the resignation of the President Guy Fontaine, called upon by Département du Nord to take over as Artistic Director/ Literary advisor to the European Writers’ Residence Marguerite Yourcenar, in cooperation with Les Lettres Européennes.
2) A publication of the papers submitted at the international symposium After the Fall of the Wall, a new literary geography in Europe? held at the University Lille 3 on 15,16,17 April 2015.
3) A History of European Literature chapter 16 : After the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
4) Reworking of the existing text in French and English, to integrate the updated submissions
5) Modus operandi for the updating of A History of European Literature.
